Sunday

This is what is left of The Great Blizzard of 2011.

We started a new class at church.  We are learning about children in poverty around the world.  We are taking the class with the 5th and 6th graders.

The teachers showed us what other uses the drinking water had in poor areas.  I almost threw up, so I won't tell you what else happens to it.  Suffice it to say, it is the wrong color.  See it up there in the punch bowl?

We learned how the continent of Africa's population barely has one Oreo cookie for two people.
This, of course, was a way to break it down to make it easier to understand how little food there is to go around.

It was very interesting.  I am looking forward to hearing more and see what Robbie's reaction will be.
