When we woke up this morning there was no snow. School had already been cancelled, but no snow. I was really trying to decide if we could make it to Jacksonville and back before the snow came. By the time I got out of the shower at 8:30, it started. The Great Blizzard of 2011. They had been predicting 10".
This is what we got.
Jonah went out to measure how much snow there was.
Nice outfit!
So naturally we had to go outside and play.
We really wanted the boys to sled. We did not have a sled. We improvised.
Yes, that is my husband. The Problem Solver. He got an extension cord and tied it to a laundry basket. Then pulled the boys down the hill.
Robbie, every once in a while, will really ham it up for the camera...
We also ran down the street to the neighbor's house and sang, We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Just to make them laugh.l
Afterwards we warmed ourselves by the fire.
We finished the night with ice cream topped with the Redi Whip that I bought for William's VDay party.
I love snow!
