We are still doing the Red Card series with Robbie.  This week, we learned about child labor.  We saw a video about a girl who is 11.  She had to quit school because her father died and her mother and brother took ill.  She works 14 hour days for 35 cents.  It was gut wrenching to watch.  We learned that in Bangladesh, there is no gravel.  They make gravel by crushing bricks with a hammer.  This is a job that young children do.

Our hands on experience was to take a hammer and try to crush a brick so that we could see how hard it was.
