8/12 Davis Reunion

Today we had friends over to play.  Last summer, we saw them twice a week for eight weeks of the summer.  This summer, we have not seen them at all.  The kids got along great.  No arguing or anything. 

The boys had pitched our tent in the guest bedroom.  They had fun playing   different DSI games the boys brought with them to share.

Victor was home sick and barely left the bedroom to keep the germs with him.  Doctor says Victor is a half step away from pneumonia. 

After dinner, we went to Jonah and William's Open House for school.  This is the time you go, find out who your teacher is and bring all of the supplies. 

William did not get the teacher I wanted.  He did not get the teacher I requested.  He did not get the teacher that Robbie and Jonah both had for kindergarten.  ARGHHH!  Try to remain calm, try to remain calm.

William's teacher knew that I wanted someone else and made it a point to come to Victor and me and say, "I know you wanted Ms. Shearer and have a great relationship with her.  I hope we can have a great relationship too and a good year."  I admired her courage.
