All summer I have been trying to do fun things that the boys would enjoy and keep them active. I decided they could spend the day doing what I wanted to do for a change. Sounds fair right? Surely my boys would be extra good...
So we head to Conway. Why Conway you ask? Well they have a TJMaxx Home store. We do not have one in LR. I was looking for lamps for our bedroom. It is so dark even with the light on, I cannot read anything. So off we go.
As it happens, Pier 1 is right beside TJMaxx. So I thought, why not? We are already here. So into Pier 1 all four of us go. I told the boys to be careful, everything is breakable, etc. (you know the lecture). As I am walking around the store, I notice that the bells for the front door are going off. Excessively. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
The sales lady was trying to help me pull the swing off of Robbie. It was not light. All the while the sales lady was looking at me like, "I knew these kids were trouble from the moment they walked in."
The day did not get any better. The boys did not act any better. The entire trip would have been a bust if it weren't for the fact that I found two of these:
