MLK Day

William wanted to celebrate MLK Day, so we called some friends and had a feast of chicken fajitas, guacamole, corn dogs, cheese dip, margaritas, strawberry cake, ice cream and fruit.  I felt bad because when I called our friends to invite them over, we had a serious miscommunication.  They thought that I said it was William's birthday.  I said, William wanted to celebrate MLK's birthday.  They brought a present.

We have not had salt and pepper shakers since we moved and it is driving Victor CRAZY.  They disappeared in the move you see, quite the mystery what happened to them.  So he bought some new ones for the occasion.  It is funny how I have been looking for a set that I like, but have not found any that are inexpensive and cute.  Victor goes out on the first try and comes home with some that I love, just basic, no frills, simple design.  Figures.

The kids had a blast.  They played games -

and of course there is always time for silly pictures -

but most importantly, there was wrestling.
