This is a photo a day journal of the trials and tribulations and all around craziness of trying to raise three boys. It is not always happy go lucky because this is real life, but an honest account of what daily life is like for my family as we maneuver through life.

Big Mistake
William found my camera this morning and began taking pictures instead of getting ready for school. Let's see what he found interesting:
What I failed to remember is that I had overtaken the den with a project of my own that was equally as messy:
How embarrassing... I made her promise to come back when it was clean.
The chair, yes William, it is new
The Cars computer, yes William, you did not play with it near as much as I thought you would after you begged us to buy that for you for last Christmas
Trash on the floor, yes William, take a picture of that - or you could pick it up and throw it away.
Mortal Combat CD, yes William, it is does have some good songs.
Yourself in the mirror, yes William, it doesn't always work.
Yourself, yes William, if the camera is too close it does make your face look big.
That's better.
The downstairs, yes William, please put my purse in the car on your way out.
When I was on my way home from picking up the boys, a friend called and said they had time to stop by and see the house, would I mind? No of course not, but I don't think it is very clean. No problem? Ok meet you there.
BIG MISTAKE
I thought the mess was with Robbie working on his Hooverville project:

Paula Deen
When I have to make a dessert for anyone - I turn to Paula Deen for guidance. I recently saw a show where she made a volcano cake. I thought that would be good to try out on the women at Community Bible Study. So today was my day to bring dessert. this is what the dish looked like at the end of the night:
I HATE SCHOOL PROJECTS!
Do your kids have a lot of school projects? They drive me crazy and I do not understand the point of most of them. It seems that it just adds stress and it ends up that the parent does way more of the project than the child. Right now Robbie has to create a Hooverville in a shoe box. What is a Hooverville you ask? A Hooverville is a group of people from the Great Depression that lost their homes and are living in cardboard houses and metal houses or whatever material they could find to give them shelter. They called them Hoovervilles because they blamed President Hoover for the Depression and there were so many people living in such a close proximity that it was almost like a town. The lesson itself is very timely because this is exactly how people in Haiti are living RIGHT NOW. I pointed this out to Robbie, however, I still could have done without the project.
Yeah Robbie - I'm scratching my head too. I have no idea how you are going to do this. Thank goodness for your father!

Silvester
William's homework is to create a poster board of his pet. That is one of my favorite topics!
Silvester!
He has always been very curious so we tend to find him in unusual places....
in a six pack...
on Victor's pillows!!!
At an early age he learned the beauty of fresh water...
A practice he continues to do - exclusively - as far as I can tell..
Last week he meowed at our guest until she turned on the water in the tub for him to drink.
he loves to be a part of the action...
Silvester!
the dishwasher..
the dryer...
in the bookcase
playing with trains..
on top of a giant Christmas present...
on top of all the packed boxes for moving day...
almost to the ceiling!
on Victor's pillows!!!
A practice he continues to do - exclusively - as far as I can tell..
Last week he meowed at our guest until she turned on the water in the tub for him to drink.
he also enjoys the outdoors, preferably at night right before you want to go to bed, but can't because you have to let him back in the house
he tends to sit on top of whatever you are doing - just to say hi...
he loves to be a part of the action...
and to sleep ...he is a cat after all
He eats everything - guacamole, chicken alfredo, enchiladas, spaghetti, pork chops, EVERYTHING. He weighs about 22 lbs and is 13 years old.
look at that big boy!
when he stands on his hind legs he can reach the door knob and open our bedroom door
We all love him. He has come to love the boys and let them pet and carry him around. He even goes in Robbie's room at 5 am to wake him up so that Robbie can feed him.
Isn't he the sweetest?
